1. Nature of Services

ByteHost, operated by Sayan Roy Chowdhury, provides digital services including web hosting, AI-assisted website creation, SSL certificates, email hosting, SSD storage, and CDN integration. All services are delivered electronically and instantly activated upon successful payment.

2. No Physical Products

ByteHost is a purely digital service provider. We do not sell, ship, or deliver any physical products or goods. As such, traditional product returns do not apply to our services.

3. Return / Refund Window

We offer refund/exchange within the first 30 days from the date of your purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a return, exchange or refund of any kind.

Since our services are digital in nature and delivered instantly upon purchase, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Once hosting resources are provisioned and activated for your account, the digital service has been fully delivered.

4. Eligibility for Return / Refund

In order to become eligible for a return or refund: (i) the purchased service should be unused or in its original state, (ii) you must contact support within 30 days of purchase. Further, only such services are eligible for exchange (based on an exchange request) if such services are found defective or not as described.

You agree that there may be a certain category of products/items that are exempted from returns or refunds. Such categories of the products would be identified to you at the time of purchase. For exchange/return accepted request(s) (as applicable), once your request is received and inspected by us, we will send you an email to notify you about receipt of the request. Further, if the same has been approved after the quality check at our end, your request (i.e. return/exchange) will be processed in accordance with our policies.

5. Service Cancellation

You may cancel your ByteHost account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon cancellation:

  • Your hosting account will be deactivated within 24 hours
  • All associated data (websites, emails, databases, files) will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Cancellation after the 30-day refund window does not entitle you to a refund

6. Plan Changes

If you wish to change your hosting plan:

  • Upgrade: You may upgrade to a higher plan at any time by paying the price difference. Contact support to initiate an upgrade.
  • Downgrade: Plan downgrades are not supported as all plans are one-time payments. You may cancel and repurchase a lower plan within the 30-day refund window.
